Not LIKE a dream come true, ACTUALLY a dream come true!

There's only one person I know who will even care about this (and they don't even have LJ I don't think) but I'm so excited that I have to blog it anyway :'D Not even my family probably cares lol. (Well... maybe my sister a little bit. But I've only shown her anyway. XD)

A few of you might know that I am a HUGE fan of the site OverClocked ReMix (which is an "Unofficial Game Music Arrangement Community", to quote off the subtitle). One of my aspirations is to one day create an OC ReMix worthy enough to pass the Judging Panel and be posted onto the site.

Well, I'm still a long ways from that yet probably (hahah) - the closest I come to that is being being a member of the forums and occasionally submitting pieces to the WIP forums. Well, a few months ago I posted up this really silly acoustic guitar/vocal arrangement of the Costa de Sol theme off FFVII for a bit of fun.

(In the first post it says 'It's no Suco de Melancia' - that's an OC ReMix by Red Tailed Fox, of the Costa de Sol theme. Very cool :D)

It's been well received on the OCR forums, to my surprise, haha - there are comments like it's 'light and cute and easy on the ears' and even a few OCReMixers have commented. Anyway, a few days/a week ago it got bumped up again (by someone asking if the vocals were Miku... I guess I should be flattered, heheh).

Imagine my surprise when, the next day, the next day, Red Tailed Fox posted a comment on my thread! Heheh :D It made me very happy.

A few hours later I logged into Meebo and I got a friend-add request from an email address I didn't know. As I usually do when I don't know who it is, I throw the name in the address through Google and see what comes up. It was.... Red Tailed Fox! @___@ Second big surprise!

So, after a long, long day at school which finished at 1630 because of a meeting I didn't realise I had today, I'm finally home.

Finally home.

Finally home at about 1740.

I gave mum a quick text saying I was taking a 1645 train home and almost nodded off on the train. Anyway, I get off at Station Road... she's not there. So I think, okay then, if I don't see her car at Kohima, I'll just walk home. I really need some headspace.

Sure enough she wasn't at Kohima either, but that was okay. So I just walked all the way from Station Road up Broadmeadows with my heavy heavy schoolbag on my back, listening to my iPod all the way through (throbbing 'techno' OCReMixes are good at pushing everything out of one's head. Also are very nice to listen to).
(There was a guy that I was sort of semi-following on the way back, he also lives in Broadmeadows it seems.)

Somewhere around two to three KM later, I'm back home. Mum got a shock when I rang the doorbell and she came to see who was at the door (I don't have a house key). She said she didn't get my text.... then from the kitchen we hear a text tone and Dad says "You got a text". Thank you, technology. I could've called but walking's free.

That walk was good for me both mentally and physically. I need the exercise and I need some alone-time just doing nothing. My brain's been running around in circles lately and I'm really stressed out with work and school and committee stuff and more, but that's probably my fault.

Moral of the story: If you're gonna take on responsibilities, start early. Or else it'll come back and bite you in the butt.

Meanwhile, I'm definitely going to Vic. Uni next year (granted that I pass my exams, that is). I've been up there for the Open Day and just this weekend to play some Table Tennis (the bats are in terrible condition - bringing my own next time). I'm really looking forward to the University atmosphere and being around - don't be offended guys, but - normal people for a change, if you get what I mean.
Like... at work. My workbuddies are normal (relatively), and I get along really well with Adam (6'6"!) who I can geek out with on gaming and music from time to time :)

I've been through the Vic. Club booklet and I've already marked a few of the clubs I'd like to join, hehe. I'm also looking forward to... 'growing up', I guess you could say. I dunno. I'm not in a hurry to grow up (far from it sometimes) but I'm looking forward to this part of being an 'adult' and things like that.

Gonna see the Death Note movie, 6-30PM at National Film Archives (lol) for free! Yeah, Death Note is hyped but I ain't seen the movie before, haha. xD

Edit: Guess there are more of 'us' than I thought - we got there 15 min early and it was full up! Apparently they had to push 20+ people out.

So, I was looking for my Year 10 Maths notebook just today when I came across something absolutely incredible.

I was reading it over and over again and I was just tearing up. If I ever read it out loud again I'd probably end up crying.

So, it's 15 minutes until Christmas day and just 10 minutes ago, I finished the rest of my Christmas gift preparations. And that includes painting a whole watercolour picture, waiting for it to try, doing the inks, then wrapping it. >w<
Dad had to wrap my sister's present though, the combined items were just waaay to awkwardly shaped for me to do it by myself.

I'd have finished 20 minutes earlier than just that, but I was on the phone with my cousin Nathan in Christchurch. I'm so glad there's someone in the family that I can totally geek out with on games without them fizzing out halfway. Hell, he knew Bioshock, and Shadow Hearts (at least heard of it) AND Gyakuten Keiji! Whoo!! 8D

Anyway, I'm dead beat. I hope my tiredness overcomes the bad-bad-BAD insomnia I've been suffering from for the last week or so. Mum reckons my body clock's gone on AWOL end-of-year silly-holiday mode and that I work better with a 'set' schedule. I agree. I abhor getting up at 10 in the morning, I'm going to get up at 7-30 from now on!! XDD

Anyway, just ten minutes left by my clock folks. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!! :D

I accidentally typed 'Quote of the Dad' just then, but that would've been okay too, since my Dad's the one who teaches me all this stuff in the first place. :)

What relevance is this to anything? Well, the castlist just came out for the Shadow Hearts Fandub on the VAA. I auditioned for Halley myself, and Pyro auditioned for Margarete and Keith :)

Anyway, I just checked this morning and we didn't get the parts that we auditioned for. I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm not at least a little bit sad (D;) but you know, just get up and keep going. (Besides, I'm gonna be a great writer someday. I gotta get used to rejection early lol)
Besides, I was auditioning for the part of a 16 year old boy, and I was up against five other dudes. That's gotta say something. (Although it would've been funny if I had gotten the part, and beaten five dudes to do so. XD)

Anyway. On the plus-side, us having auditioned means that we're GUARANTEED to get an minor/extra part! Hooray! They should be up and audition-able at the end of the week.

I actualy had a stupid restless night full of weird dreams and at least one of them was about the Casting. It was really retarded. XD In one of them I got told that I didn't get Halley, but I did get Chris and Joshua. HAHAHA.

Well, once the minors/extras are out, I hope to maybe get Chris. She's my second choice after Halley at the moment, but that's probably because I know more about Covenant than the first game at the moment. I can only remember her saying a few lines though.... I dunno. =w=
And maybe I'll go for another character as well. A young, cute one, like you said, Pyro. Hey, this means you can go for Kawashima now :D

This also means I can try out for other productions too now. Didn't you want to do the Chrno Crusade one?

Oh yeah, while we're on the topic of Shadow Hearts, I've pretty much memorised all of 'OohLaLa' properly now. Like my sister said, "That's disgusting". XD IIIORZ

Wharf Jump - The Aftermath!!

THE WHARF JUMP WAS AWESOME BEYOND AWESOME AND MORE EPIC THAN WHAT WORDS CAN DESCRIBE <3333

Seriously, it was one of the best and most breathtaking and exhilarating experience of my school life. If I could do it again, I totally would!! :D

Phili, Abby, Hana and Kylie had come to watch, along with Matt and Luke (though I didn't see them until later) and that was fun :D
Thanks to Phili for doing my sunscreen and for that extra towel ^__^<33

Caddyl and Kelly and I were jumping (Marina wasn't because of "sea-monsters") and we decided to pick a spot that didn't have algae right underneath it. Also, Caddyl was dropping stones in the water to see how far we could see it go down before it disappeared from sight - the conclusion, the water in the Lagoon is actually not THAT dirty :D

I was panicking a bit closer to the jump, and everyone was supposed to shout "5 4 3 2 1, WGC!!" and then jump, but our half of the line was behind the other half by a second and I was spacing out because of apprehension (if that works :P), so I missed the counting, barely heard the yell of "WGC!!" and ended up being more pulled in by everyone else than actually jumping myself xD

Also a second moment of panic where I thought everyone else was gonna drag me under quite deep (because I'm tinier than everyone else, remember :B) but it was fine - I surfaced and my fringe was all in my face so that I couldn't see, so I bobbed for a bit and pulled it out of my eyes. What made it worse here was that I didn't have my glasses (I put them away before the jump) so I was blinded for a few moments. :XD:

Third moment of panic where I was going to swim to the edge of the Lagoon, and I had to tread water kinda hard since the uniform dress I was wearing wasn't mine, but Marina's second one (since my sister wears mine now) and it was a bit big for me so it did end up being quite heavy. Also, everyone else was screaming (I was more in 'silent panic' mode) and you know what they say about "Mob Psychology". LOL.

Fortunately, since Caddyl and Kelly and I had been holding hands so they landed quite close to me. I'd asked to be in the middle of Caddyl and Kelly - originally I was on the other side of Caddyl, but the girl on my left didn't want to hold hands. I felt 'safer' being in the middle of two people so we swapped. xD

Since the dress was weighing me down so much, I started swimming pretty much right away. I was failing at breaststroke (since I didn't feel like dunking my face underwater without goggles) so I ended up doing this weird backstroke-butterfly hybrid while turning over every so often to see how far I was from the ladder. Once I got to the ladder, I held onto it for ages trying to catch my breath. I also helped some of the other girls get to the ladder by holding out my hand and pulling them in :)

And then after we got out... Caddyl, Kelly and I jumped right back in again, with a yell of "For Amanda!!!" whom we dearly miss and were totally heartbroken that she couldn't be with us on this tradition D:
I took off the dress before the second jump though, it was so heavy I was sure it was going to sink me xD I was wearing togs and boardshorts underneath my dress - I know a lot of other girls were wearing bikinis and whatnot under their uniforms too.

The water in the Lagoon is really, really salty by the way. To the point of being foul. xD After the second jump, the three of us were all spluttering water out of our mouths and whatnot, but after a while it just turned into a spluttering contest. XD
It wasn't cold, but it was actually a really nice temp. because the weather warmed up HEAPS by the time we were out of last assembly and wandering down to the Lagoon.

It's not my video, but I'll get to that soon. :)

After that, we got changed, then me and Caddyl, Kelly, Marina, Phili, Luke and Matt sat down on a really nice place overlooking the harbour and we talked for ages. Mostly about gaming and cosplaying. HUR. xD
At one point, I looked at my knee where there'd been a pretty big rough patchy scar-ish thing where I totaled my knees about a month ago while rollerblading (Melly and Shane were witness to that :B) and... it was almost totally healed over! I swear I looked at it earlier and it wasn't like that! xD (Well, the water WAS really salty... ;))

Our conclusion from this - The Lagoon is actually the place where the City of the Ancients was or be. FFVII is set in the past/future on this earth... in NZ. The White Materia (Holy?) is somewhere at the bottom of the Lagoon, except no-one knows where because the Lagoon is kinda filthy. XD
Luke then pointed out into the harbour and said by that theory, Midgar should be out somewhere in the middle of the Pacific..... That or we'll have an FFX and SIN will pop out of the water. xD

Well, I really should be studying right now, so I guess I leave you at that! Future 6th Form WGCers, do the Wharf Jump!! It's just so much fun. Don't worry about the water being dirty, it's not like you're going to be in there for a super-long time anyway. I mean look at me - I have super-allergies, and I'm still alive. ;D

Several reasons why today is a good day:

I got the results back for my Chinese mock exam. For writing, reading and listening, I got all Excellence! Whoop! :D

Table Tennis Club Champs started tonight... I won all my games except for my last, which I LOST. He didn't win, I LOST. Sadly, I can beat that guy usually.... this time though I was playing it too safe and lost many, many points. >___>

I also did something I've never done before at Table Tennis - I fell over. Usually, it's only ever the guys that do this, whether they throw themselves over for a ball or whatever... but this time I returned a shot (practicing with my sister) and I tripped over my own feet and went down sideways. It was this slow, kinda depressing... *fwalump*. xD

ALSO, SOMETHING REALLY AMAZING HAPPENED TO M--

Well, okay. I shouldn't get too ahead of myself but I'm kind of excited about it xD
One of my pieces of fanfiction was nominated for the annual Genesis Awards Fanfiction Contest! Wow! :D

It was my "Rhapsodos: Desiderata" fanfiction, nominated for the 'Best Angst' category. You can have a look here.

Despite the fact that I no longer write a lot of angst, I am very proud of that story (although there are a few kinks that I'd like to sort out).

I used to write a LOT of angst, a few years back. During my 'deep phase' xD Then it got exhausting and I started veering towards other genres... now I've nestled in some comfortable all-sorts 'Slice of Life' genre with my 'O-Cha!' fic.

Which should really get updating. I'm on a roll right now, so I better not lose it. xD

Did you know that The Black Mages version of FFX 'Otherworld' is sung by a girl? :) It's an interesting twist... but I think I prefer the manly throat-ripping version myself. -still bets she could sing 'A Vampire's Lament' properly if she wanted to- xD

Anyway, it's mock exams week at the moment. I'm kinda proud of how 'spread out' mine are... although I do have two exams on one day on two occassions.

Monday: English, French (I think these two went pretty well)
Tuesday: 'Free' to study for Chinese and celebrate Cloud's birthday... and Chris' too, or so I'm told ;D Happy Birthday, you guys :)
Wednesday: Chinese
Thursday: ICT. Programming. Should be a breeze ;D I'm good at programming. I love eet. :)
Friday: Nothing >D
Monday: Maths, Biology (....xD)

Then I have Tuesday FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE. ALL MINE. HAR HAR HAR HAR. >DD

I have also been very SICK SICK SICK SICK SICK. It SUCKS. As if I wasn't born sick to begin with D;
I've been sick most of this year for some reason or other. I had a blood test done when I went to the hospital for my four-yearly skin prick test, but they tested for everything and came up with NOTHING. I ABHOR being so sick. I woke up yesterday and it felt like my throat was on fire.

Thank goodness for the traditional quick-fix Chinese remedy of hot water xD
(No sugar, or that kinda defeats the whole purpose of the phlegm-killing thing you're trying to achieve.)

Anyone who knows me will be familiar with how - when I do cosplays by myself - I go to Arthur Toye's on Lambton and buy fabric from the Remnants table (gawd I love that name xD) ONLY. I pick mostly for colour and whichever one has the most for my cheap monies.

Then I root through my sewing kit (or mum's) and find a thread colour that matches the best, or I just use black or white.

THEN I HANDSEW LIEK, THE ENTIRE THING. HUR HUR HUR HUR HUR >DD

My CC~Yuffie cosplay? HANDSEWED! ....Well, mostly. Except for a bit of ribbon that Marina did and the side seams mum told me were ugly so she made me redo them. xDD

I plan to handsew for Simon (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) and Soul (Soul Eater). >3

Does Cosplay Ball come under this too? ....Meh, it mentions 'Cosplay'.
Since the emails I've received have told me (long story short) that only certain people can run events using our school hall (you should have told me that first!! And can't you just straight out say, "sorry, you're a student, therefore we don't trust you"?! DX) we may take some time in finding a new venue. Good thing we're starting so early. xD

All you had to do was name the new Presto mascot (this white dog thing) and send it it with the Presto membership slip ;D I've actually ben a Presto member since waaaay back when, when it was still 'The Evening Post' and 'The Dominion' separately. I was trying to figure out where my old card was, but I couldn't find it... I looked at the join-up sheet on the Presto page and it said that Presto members could be between 5 and 16. I almost cried with happiness xD

Because I was eager (VERY eager) to get an entry in, I quickly racked my brain for names and asked my sister what she thought etc.

Me: "What about... 'Auron'?!"
Sis: "What?!"
Me: "No you're right, it's too manly for that mangy-looking thing...."
Sis: "o___O"
Me: "OH, I KNOW!! ANSEM!! 8DD" -scrawls 'Ansem' on the form-
Sis: "No!!"
Me: "Yes!! >D"

Then I cut out the forms, ran off to get an envelope, nicely folded everything (:D) and put it in, scrawled the address on the envelope, then I ran off to give it to mum. Her first reaction was to laugh at me. xDD

So if I get it, the dog will be named Ansem and I'll get a Tintin DVD boxset. Only if I win though. (...I hope I get one xDD)

Hokay, time for me to write some more chapter, while I still have a bit of time. x3

A/N: Just a little Genesis character study - kinda like a soliloquy, I guess (He is a very twisted young man. But I love him nonetheless). 'Desiderata' means 'something desired'.

Personally, I think I could've done a better job on this, It kinda... rushes into it. And for some strange reason there were parts in this which made me almost cry when I wrote it...

Man, Robin Atkin Downes gets so much crap for the dubbing of Genesis in the 'DIRGE' secret ending xDD
But yeah, I have to say I agree. He's not a vampire, Mr. Atkin Downes, he doesn't need a Transylvanian accent >___<

But you know what? I REALLY, REALLY love how the resume on Robin Atkin-Downes' website credits him as GACKT in 'DIRGE of CERBERUS' xDDD

So, yeah, Genesis' 'DIRGE' voice was pretty ouch, but ~~apparently~~ Robin Atkin Downes actually has a really nice poetic (British) voice. He voiced Luxord in KHII and he was Davy Jones in 'PoTC; LoJS'. I hope he takes a hinter from Gackt ^____^

Gackt's english is getting better though I believe, if you'll excuse the 'Nothing Truth' bit in REDEMPTION.

And Rick Gomez who shall be Zack apparently has a talent for voice mimicry... so maybe he can imitate Ken'ichi Suzumura's voice? His two seconds in ADVENT CHILDREN seemed promising.
Oh, and once ADVENT CHILDREN COMPLETE comes out (will they dub that?) it will have Zack's CRISIS CORE look instead of his softer grey-haired one <333

And I hope they do Angeal and Lazard justice, I love them too much. <333

OH OH OH!! AND KUNSEL TOO!!

If Kakashi's english voice had been closer to the Japanese (where Kazuhiko Inoue [Angeal] voiced) then I would've noted him for Angeal, but since dub Kakashi has a higher voice and happens to be the person who dubbed over for Yazoo [Dave Wittenberg]...

I should be off sleeping right about now, but whatever.

So, recently when my mum and I were down at J-Ville Mall, I bought myself some supplies:

Paid for it all in Whitcoulls vouchers, so I didn't have to do pull out any cash. I also saw this perfect red paint, but it was $16 for the one tube, so I might go back to that later. I still have plenty of vouchers left though. Anyway, all this is going towards weaponry:

So I was studying this afternoon when all of about 1730 or so I began to feel very sleepy. So I lay down to bed and dozed off. And I had this little dream - not a really vivid one, but just one of those really nice hazy ones which you may or may not remember later on. And I recalled it later, and it was a short dream, and it had -points- you in it, JK, and Shadow too. We were all sitting together and talking somewhere... I can't remember where it was. But your hair was down, JK, and it was shorter? And for some reason a bit blonder... but whatever.

I've been feeling tired really easily lately. I must remember to take my iron tablets on a more regular basis. >__<

'O-Cha!' Story Competition

A/N: I know this is probably not allowed and I’m going to feel naughty about this afterwards, but I’ll just enjoy the moment for now (and see if it works at all. I’ll be a bit sad if it doesn’t...)

COMPETITION

Anyway, I announced a Competition in Chapter Eight, and when I said you wouldn’t have to wait long, I meant it! In fact, you didn’t have to wait at all. I have no idea where I got this notion from, but who cares!

So! Here’s the deal. It’s a story-writing Competion fixated around this story ‘O-Cha!’, and the idea is that you write a mini-story with Claudia in it as a major character. You may include any other characters you wish, be it an AVALANCHE member or a citzen of Wutai.

Lord, I’m making no sense... Okay, new tactic:

Competition Aim:
- To write a mini-story with Claudia in it as a major character.
Why?:
- Why the hell not??
Requirements:
- Claudia must be in it. (Man, that sounds so self-centred...)
- At least one other character that is not a creation of mine must be in it (but that’s not to say that you can’t use Kaoru or Francis or Melissa)
- They must be in-character, or must at least have a vague semblence of being in character!
- You must be creative!

Restrictions:
- You may not stray any further than where I have come with the current storyline.
- It may not be a main story plot idea (ie. Sector Seven collapse.)
- It cannot be anything X-rated or inappropriate for children to read! And that includes Mary/Barbara-Sueness!
- Those who wish to enter must post a nice, decent review (and maybe with a mini-story suggestion?) for any chapter in ‘O-Cha!’ ending with the word that moogles commonly use to rope off sentences. This way I know that you’ve read these rules.

It can be a Delivery Mini-story, and it can also go back into Claudia’s past if you wish it, or link back to something like the Wutai War.
Be creative! I wanna see what you guys can do. Write it in the first-person Claudia narrative or a third-person Claudia-centric narrative -- or even a first-person or third-person narrative from a different point of view. Think outside the square!

The due date is by: The first of November! I was going to make it the 18th or October, so I could have lots of lovely stories to read on my birthday, but that would be cruel.

In order to enter your mini-story: There isn’t much you have to do. Just write up a mini-story and send it to my Yahoo email (bookwurm4life) with your name, FFnet username (if you have one) and the subject as “‘O-Cha!’ Story Competition”. But mind you, if you haven’t done the previously set task, you won’t be judged. Sorry!

Winners: Now this isn’t a “Fame and glory!! I’ve got fame and glory!!” competition where the winner gets money. This thing is purely just for fun, like a no-gain newspaper competition, so if you were expecting me to send a lump sum of $50 000 to your PayPal account, sorry, because that’s not the point of the competion, and I haven’t got that kind of money anyway.

Instead, First Place winner will have their mini-story posted in ‘O-Cha!’, the Runners-Up will have theirs posted after that, and the rest of you will have your mini-stories scattered throughout ‘O-Cha!’ after that anyway. So in the end... everyone wins. Haha xD

And with a Competition, you’ll have noticed, also comes a change in pen-name! From here on it, I’ve decided to change my Username to Li-Bai - Opus 3, No. 2 which works in favour of my childhood and my ancestry. Hm, two birds with one stone. Not bad : )

Toucan's Big Adventure

Well, overall it's been a boring holiday so far with not much happening (although come Thursday is a birthday) but here's a little snippet of the Toucan's Big Adventure today.

I woke up late today (felt ashamed of myself for doing so) and after Breakfast and some fiddling around trying to find something to do, at about 1000 I figure I might as well get back to playing some 'Kingdom Hearts', since my sister decided yesterday that she was going to start her own game on her own Memory card and I haven't played it in a bit.
Yep, you guessed it... After five months, we still have Kathryn's 'Kingdom Hearts'. But she says that we can borrow it for as long as we need to... I love Kathryn <333 x3

I start up the PS2, wait for the Loop Demo to show up, watch that, spread out my various printout and walkthroughs on the floor and start my game. Wander around the worlds a bit, trying to collect chests before I go back to End of the World.
Anyway, I walk away from the game a bit to go nab some food a while later, and I come back and my sister is poring over the stuff I have on the floor.

We talk, I play, she goes off to the kitchen and comes back ten minutes later with some toast with blueberry jam for us to eat, as well as some orange juice : ) I decide that I'm gonna play through a bit of End of the World, and get along quite nicely. That is, until I reach Chernabog. After a silly mistake (or two... or three) I get myself killed dead, so I give up and save and go to the Olympus Coliseum.

My sister goes in and out of the room to put some more bread in the toaster and comes back to watch me play through a Tournament, and we talk some more, and then she goes back to the kitchen. And then I'm in gameplay when she says...

"... I smell burning."
I sniff the air. "... Me too."

My sister all but yelps and runs off towards the kitchen, closing the double-doors to the hallway as she goes. I look up... ("Sweet Shiva!!") ...to see white smoke literally billowing from the top of the kitchen doorway. I pause my game and rush off to close the other door to the hallway so that the smoke alarms don't go off (can't disturb the parents while they're working), and as I pass the doors my sister has already closed, I look through the glass panes and see... that door I'm running to close, close by itself.
And it can't be my sister because she's over there, opening the window.

oO?

Yes, that was a little bit strange... but anyway, we open all the windows we can, I briefly open the French doors so that the majority of the smoke can blow through the kitchen and out the windows (Thank God for Windy Wellington... but just this once)... Then I grab the nearest tea-towel and start flapping it maniacally so we won't both die of smoke inhalation. My sister follows my example, and we're both coughing hysterically and screeching at each other. I almost dropped down onto the ground, but then that wouldn't have done much for the smoke-removal.

I'm serious when I say that the lounge, kitchen and dining room were all filled with smoke. You could see it - it was thick and everywhere. But then again, you'd have had to be there to see it for yourself, because I have a tendency... not quite to over-exxagerate, but to word things to make them sound bigger than they are. Hey, I'm a writer. Don't hold it against me : P

Anyway, for the next quarter of an hour we're flapping smoke out the window ("If I get cancer it's your fault!!" "What?? I was making us food!!" "That's beyond the point!! You weren't watching the toaster!!")
After we've managed to breeze out most of the smoke (although it was still quite foggy inside...) my sister grabs a hold of the Air Freshener and starts spraying like crazy. Then we decide it would be a good plan to dispose of the actually blackened toast down the in-sink-erator.
My sister gets one and shoves it down the in-sink-erator with the scrub-brush (it breaks really easily...) and I get the other and drop it into the sink (it broke...) and stab it with a wooden chopstick because... it's actually quite fun to maul.

(Which brings us to that question again - Why is there always a setting on a toaster which burns the toast to a horrible crisp which no decent Human Being would eat anyway?)

Once that's done... (although the smokey smell is still obvious in the air) my sister and I... return to 'Kingdom Hearts' xDD It's great! I beat Yuffie and Leon and Cloud and totally own the Tournaments (I got Goofy an awesome 'Genji Shield' from Yuffie and I got the 'Lionheart' Keychain from Leon. I was fangirling over the Griever for a while.) My sister recorded me playing on the camera for a bit, for some reason. So now there's clips of me going "Aiee!! Not that Limit Break!!" xDD

... Still can't beat Seph, although I managed to get a total of three 'Strike Raids' in and a few hits, surprisingly enough. I keep on going back to try beat him. It's fun to see that I can actually last ten minutes against him... even if most of that ten minutes was made up of me running around in circles, Curing, cursing, singing ("Sors immanis!") and trying to see if I could get one in behind.

... I couldn't, by the way. I didn't even affect his Health in the slightest, which I find hilariously funny. And then he keeps on intoning "Come!" and then alights those Pillars of Flame which I keep on ducking away from, although he sometimes gets me... Guess that brings new meaning to "Veni veni venias, ne me mori facias" xD

What a tangled web we weave... xD But I spent hours in the Coliseum and had lots of fun!

Although it was thoroughly unproductive and I my mind was starting to go blank in the end of it. So afterwards, I got on the Piano, to actually do some brain-work. But then I came to realise that I had actually memorised my pieces, when I spaced out, snapped back to reality and saw that I'd played on without turning the page. Six memorised pieces... not bad. I think I have myself a new Repertoire.

Anyway... oh, cripes, now I've missed NCIS. Ah well, sis'll have recorded it... Anyway, even though I had fun I still wanna get out there with some friends. An outing sounds quite nice right now, or a movie ; ) I wanna see 'Ratatouille'. I've been drawing (just getting back into the groove) and continuing with the Final Trial Fantasy (which deserves a better name than just that, I think)

Haa... Well, off to do something more productive now, I guess. Like writing up more Witness Statements while watching Final Fantasy VII FMVs ("Well, it was -- Hey, wait a @#^$&*% minute, I got no obligation to answer t' you!! Where's my mop?? And goddamnnit, Shera, where's my @#%$^&* tea???" xDD)
