Random observation: Pete Coppermine has catlike/Sephiroth-like eyes. Is he really as human as he says he is?!

I suppose it was done like that just as an amusing tie-in to his love of horror stuff, mutants, werewolves, etc. But one does have to wonder....

I think I'm going to try writing that fic with the possible backstory for him for 31_days's December 7th prompt, Born from the seed of disguise. I have a name for his sister now, thanks to Aubrie, and I must think of her company's name. XD; Company names can be such a pain sometimes....

And I wonder again just how much the card professors really know about Yako Tenma's plan and the R.A. project. It seems like they know something shady's going on; they're aware Téa was kidnapped, but I don't know if they really understand what Yako intends to do with her. Pete is the one who tells Joey and Tristan that the Téa with them had been Solid Vision. He looked pretty nasty at that point, and mocks Joey a bit when Joey's furious and threatens to beat up anyone who tries to take Téa away, but in general he seems to be an easy-going, friendly prankster. I don't think he's malicious in any way, but he is a mercenary. As are all the card professors.

Two posts in one morning! Man. This scene insisted on being written; it's been bugging me for the last few days, but I wanted to get chapter 2 done first.


( Lessons Learned )

**has been working on a picture for the climax of the fic.** It's saaad. ;____; And OW. Bakura is holding Yami Bakura and crying. Yami Bakura is in his Thief King form, limp and dead and with the spear plunged through him. o.o Definitely one of the most graphic pictures I've done in a while. When I color it, it will be very bloody. I also plan to do one of Yami Bakura when he's first speared, and his shock and pain as it's thrown into him.

And I've been pondering more on the villain. o.o I wanted the people he kills to tie in somehow with his obsession. So I came up with this: He only kills people with black hair. (Obsessed with white, despises black....) That would put the following characters in danger:

-Yugi Muto (well, his hair's partially black....)
-Duke Devlin
-Ishizu Ishtar
-Rishid Ishtar
-Mokuba Kaiba
-Pete Coppermine
-Mako Tsunami (if he happens to be around)

Probably at least two or three of them will be harmed, with Bakura growing more hysterical as it goes on. o.o He may eventually feel like he has to give himself up to save his friends, but Yami Bakura would tell him that even if he sacrifices himself, it won't necessarily mean the guy will stop killing.

I can no longer find the ring on site, (it is a solid silver band with a slight pattern, as if beaten, with a single line of gemstones on each side, one version had clear stones, one version with small red or black gems) if anyone recalls it's name (or price! ) that would be most welcome!
